This service facilitates the application for a certificate for the provisional license when it has been approved upon its publication by the Plant Variety Registrar's Office.
The service is provided by Rwanda Inspectorate, Competition and Consumer Protection Authority (RICA)
The processing time is 60 days, and the price is 120USD
Prerequisites:
Application number from the application for provisional protection.
Applicants should have a valid phone number, email address, or both.
Follow these simple steps to apply for provisional protection:
Visit the Irembo platform at new.irembo.gov.rw and log in to your account. If you don’t have an account, click here to learn how to create one.
Select the application for provisional protection.
Click on "Apply" to start the application
Enter application details as prompted.
Verify that the information is true, enter a phone number and/or email address, check the verification box, and click on Submit.
A billing Number/ID (88…) will be generated for payment. Click Pay
